We believe that a wedding should reflect the people
getting married, and to us, relationship is all about on-going learning
about life, love and commitment.
Therefore, we've decide to incorporate into our
wedding weekend a facilitated workshop about love and commitment.
We have invited those guests
from our wedding party whom we felt would most enjoy this process
to join us in a deep exploration about what relationship and commitment
is to each of us, in the hope that by spending a few hours consciously
focusing on our beliefs and shared experiences about relationship,
all of us attending the workshop can expand
our vision of what is possible.
It is also our wish that on the following day, at
our wedding, you'll bring the spirit of that hopefulness into your
blessings for our wedding.
In the Jewish tradition, it is not the rabbi who
marries the couple, they marry each other. The only other element
necessary to make a Jewish wedding legal, is conscious witnesses.
It is our hope that this workshop will both help
us in our continuing growth of becoming the loving, conscious couple
we want to be, and will also help to bring your highest, most loving
witness to your role in our wedding.
